In the event of accident, damage or theft, most car rentals locations will charge you up to your excess amount to repair/replace the vehicle.
Super Max Insurance is an alternative where you pay the daily rate (currently £4.50 per day including VAT). Then in the event of accident, theft, broken windows or tyre damage, the car rental company will charge your card, and Affordable Car Hire will reimburse you after you've made a claim.
If you decide to use Super Max Insurance, you should decline the car rental company's excess insurance at the counter when the car is collected.
Excess for theft of the vehicle, excess for damage to the vehicle including damage to the windows, tyres, undercarriage and roof which is typically not covered by car rental companies own excess cover.
Covers the policyholder and all additional drivers who are included on the rental agreement.
